Learnt to ski:
My first ski trip was to Les Menuires, but I did most of my learning to ski in Courchevel, so the Trois Vallées has long been in my heart.
Summer months:
I live year-round in Bozel, at the bottom of the Courchevel valley. I love the summer here as the scenery is incredible and there is so much to do outdoors.
Favourite piste/run:
There are so many great runs so it’s a tough choice. If it has been groomed then Combe de Pylons for something challenging, and as a bonus that whole area always has something good. Folyéres going down to La Tania can also be pretty awesome with good snow in the morning.

Favourite off-piste area:
It is really snow dependent, but on a day with lots of snow but not great visibility you can’t beat the trees around La Tania – there are so many different routes to take and lots of features to play around with.
Favourite lift:
I think i’ve spent more time on the Biollay chair than almost any other. It gets busy so having the instructor queue is a treat!
Best view :
There are awesome views at the top of La Masse, as well as some great, long, runs to ski. It’s well worth the trip over.

On hill eating:
Soucoupe is pretty great for a classic on-mountain lunch.
Evening apres or dining spot:
It isn’t original, but the Rond Point is still the best party apres in town. You are more likely to find me in McFarlands down in Bozel though. Copina is also great for cocktails and a bit of tapas.
3v must do:
The 3V Escapade challenge takes you to every resort and every on-piste peak in one day – its a big day out but you’ll experience just how huge and amazing these resorts are all in one day. A packed lunch is critical!
Simple advice:
Never forget that skiing is about having fun. Helpfully, when we are having fun and playing we will usually also improve!
Don’t leave home without:
Suncream!
