Heli Skiing

Heli-skiing is available from Meribel and Courchevel.

Within resort we have to use the helicopters as a returning taxi service back to resort rather than a tool for doing multiple drops in one day.

In order to use the helipcopter as our transport for multiple drops we need to do this in Italy due to French laws. Fortunately for us Italy is not far away! It is a short helicopter ride away, or about an hour in car.

By car we go to La Rosiere which neighbours with La Thuile in Italy and from there the heli-skiing experience you’ve dreamt of is waiting for us. Mont Blanc will be your neighbour, and it’ll just be you with miles and miles upon vast miles of open space and untracked snow in front of you.

Alternatively we start at either the Meribel or Courchevel Altiport and take a short flight over teh border into Italy. After a shprt touch down to comply with rules and regulations the day is ours to ski where the best snow and conditions are. The journey to Italy is a fantastic sight seeing trip over the local mountains and surrounding resorts and then a day of 3 or 4 drops is ample to get the hearts, legs and adrenaline pumping!
