From:I grew up in the Ardeche.
Learnt to ski:From 3 yrs old at Arêches/Beaufort.
Most likely to be skiing on:K2 or White doctor…. Nitro Snowboards
Favourite area for teaching:Courchevel 1850 or Meribel Altiport side.
Favourite area for off-piste adventures:Les Rafforts
Can most often be found after skiing:At the gym.
Preferred choice of Savoyarde speciality dish:Raclette, with vegetables. Top 2 restaurants on the hill:Cave des creux & Clos Bernard
Favourite restaurant (Meribel (ish)) off the hill:Le Chalet de Pierres
Local bar of choice:50/50
Best view in the 3 Valleys:Top of Mont Vallon to see the glaciers
Best advice (skiing related):Skiing is about letting the skis slide. When you learn to accept that and control that then you can truly calm down and start to enjoy!
Never spend a day on the hill without:Some snacks in my pockets…
