Sarah

From:

I’m originally from the Grenoble region / Belledonne Massif / Uriage-les-Bains.

Learnt to ski:

I started skiing in Chamrousse with my brothers and parents, and later joined the moguls and freestyle ski club as a teenager. I ended up competing quite a lot.

Summer months:

I mainly surf, but I also love hiking, biking, playing tennis, and sometimes even a bit of golf.

Favourite piste/run:

Favourite off-piste area:

I love skiing in the Cherferie area in Méribel, the Pyramides in Courchevel, and Grand Fond in Val Thorens.

Favourite lift:

I love the comfort and speed of LEGENDS – the cozy seats, the protective bubble, and the heated seats for those really cold days.

Best view :

I especially love the view from the top of Saulire with the Aiguille du Fruit in sight, and the peacefulness of Courchevel 1650.

On hill eating:

I enjoy the authentic atmosphere at Pépé Nicolas (Val Thorens) and La Cave des Creux (Courchevel).

Evening apres or dining spot:

Le Lodge (Méribel Village) – live music and a good beer.
Dinner in Méribel: I really like La Brasserie 80, with its brasserie-style classics and “made in France” dishes.

3v must do:

Catch a hockey game with the Méribel team – the atmosphere is always fun!

Simple advice:

Without control, speed is nothing. Let’s work on technique (but keep it fun and enjoyable)!

Don’t leave home without:

My Hüda neck warmer or a scarf to keep me protected from the cold, sun, and wind!
