Guided Ski Touring in Meribel

If you would like to be taken for a ski tour in Meribel then hire one of our instructors/guides. Let them safely take you to the best places for your level and experience.

There are so many tours to choose from around the 3 Valleys. Here’s a tiny selection of some of our favourites.

  • Sans Nom
  • Mont Brequin
  • Petit Mont Blanc
  • The Bourne
  • Col De Lune
  • Breche de Portetta

Please note for most ski tours we would suggest a minimum of 4 hours or a full day as the best option. Whilst some of the shorter tours are achievable in less than 4 hours it doesn’t factor in any marginal time for breaks, sight seeing, rest and any unexpected encounters!

FAQ

Do you provide the necessary safety equipment?

Yes – for any off-piste session booked with us we will supply you with a backpack, transceiver, shovel and probe. This is included in the price of your lesson.

What if there hasn’t been any fresh snow for a while?

Thankfully in the 3 Valleys even if it hasn’t snowed for a while we usually very capable of finding good snow and terrain to make your off-piste session enjoyable and fun. It may not always be champagne powder but we’ll find you the best, most fun skiing you can get away from the slopes!

Will we still ski in a high avalanche risk day?

Yes – we can do a lot to mitigate those risks right down. We will stick to suitable mellow terrain and routes that keep us way from danger but still enjoying the snow.

I’ve never skied off-piste before – will I be able to do it?

An off-piste session with Marmalade doesn’t need to be just guiding. We can take our time and give you tips and techniques to make sure you are enjoying the experience as much as possible.

Where is the  meeting point?

Meribel – Our meeting point is opposite the main ticket office at the Meribel Chaudanne. The wooden hut by the Legends chairlift and big piste map.

Courchevel – We generally meet at the bottom of the Verdons lift in the Courchevel Croisette. Beside the big piste map.

Alternatively we will come to your chalet, apartment or a place which is most convenient for you.
