Now it seems everyone prefers to book in the mornings and maybe quite rightly when getting toward Easter and with the snow we have had this year. But here are some good, solid and honest reasons why afternoons are a winner and should NOT be overlooked or undervalued……

Why book an afternoon lesson?

  • Some skiing is just simply better in the afternoon and shouldn’t be visited in the morning. Think Moguls. Bumps. Les Bosses! Afternoons are the perfect time to ski these wonderful lumps of joy. Take a lesson when they are soft and accessible for all. So many people tell us how much they hate the bumps well this is the time to change that. Stand up and take control!
  • As the clocks go forward the first two to three hours – particularly on the Saulire side in Meribel where our best beginner run is located – can be in the shade and the slopes are bullet proof. Afternoons may be slushy but mornings can be wicked icy!
  • Why should you take a lesson when the slopes are easy? The afternoon presents it’s own challenges. Take a lesson in these conditions and you will be flying in the easier conditions next morning.
  • You’re on holiday – why get out of bed early?? Have a lie in. You deserve it. Then come skiing over lunch when it’s quiet, get some tips, then head down for apres ski and another easy night. Treat yourself!
  • And the best of all………… puddles. At marmalade we are big fans of the mini lakes, the big puddles, the water slides……….

  • Oh and did we mention how much cheaper they were?

So take advantage and get booking – info@skimarmalade.com.

See you soon we hope!
