Marmalade Development Weeks – Perfect the Pistes.

During this week we will help take you from feeling like you are only just “getting down” the slopes to being a master of the groomed runs. Our aim would be to take you from being happy(ish) skiing down most blue runs to being confident to take on any groomed slope in resort and maybe some slightly rougher but easier slopes too.

From this point you would have the knowledge, capability and confidence to ski anywhere in resort plus have the ability to slow down and handle harder situations as and when they arrive.

During the week you can expect some really useful, valuable and attainable technical tips on how to make your skiing easier and more effective. As well as this we can talk you through how best to approach steeper runs, or slightly less well maintained slopes, so that you can still control your speed and choice of route down the hill.

You may arrive with some basic parallel skiing, maybe still with a slight snow plough at times. You would be confident to ski down green runs and then easy blue runs too but wouldn’t feel happy to ski down red runs or harder. Maybe you wouldn’t feel confident in your technique if the snow is not that great i.e icy, or slushy or bumpy.

As with all our Development courses the week is scheduled to run from Sunday to Thursday. We then have the option to take Friday as free day to explore and/or relax. Alternatively, as a group we can make plans through the week to take an alternative day off if it better suits the group. Or even if we are subjected to some bad weather in the week we can then be flexible and arrange around that.

For this coming winter season our dates for the Perfect the Pistes development week is over Christmas week – 22nd to 26th December 2019. And costs €500 per person for 5 full days of fantastic tuition, mentoring and guiding you to greatness!
