Heli Skiing!
One of the highlights in any skiers life. A big bucket list item for most skiers looking to enjoy a life off-piste. A truly awe inspiring day. Here’s a small slice of a recent experience (or two) flying out of Meribel one day and then Courchevel the next.
A 10 minute flight takes you over the ski reports of La Plagne, Les Arcs, Val D’Isere, Tignes and St. Foy. Then drops you over the border into Italy where – on this particular trip – we were placed at the head of the valley d’Aosta looking down toward Cervinia, Matterhorn and the Monte Rosa away away in the distance. Spectacular.
From this first drop it’s full steam ahead enjoying 1000m+ descents. Words aren’t going to do this justice……
