Meribel BASI Ski Instructor Training with Marmalade
January in Meribel and across the 3 Valleys – Meribel, La Tania, Courchevel – has been a challenging month for teaching skiing. Learning to ski has been faced with every type of snow known to man.
We’ve had sunshine, powder, mild days, freezing days, high winds, glorious pistes, awful snow.
But it’s always been useful!! No matter the conditions as ski instructors in Meribel we adapt and make sure our clients get the most from the week.
One such recent week was our BASI preparation week in conjunction with our friends at Inside Out Skiing. What would normally have been a week looking at technique on piste and improving this technique to then go further afield into leaving how to ski bumps and variable, off-piste snow turned into this….
The week was a challenging one with as many conditions as there were turns. But a great week was had and everyone played their part in making the week so good.
Well done to all concerned – you were absolute troopers for turning up smiling every day and relishing every insane task we could put you through.
Looking forward to next year already!
P.S – sorry about the video. It seems we need to change the initial set up in our editing package – probably a very simple task but we didn’t want to keep you waiting any longer for this video.
