Hi my name’s Nick and I have been based here in Meribel for 10 years now working as a ski coach. I took to the slopes for the first time at the age of 5 years and have been mad about sliding downhill on planks ever since.


In 1997 I moved to Canada to a small resort called Mont Tremblant where I met Derek and started the Canadian ski teaching qualifications (CSIA).


Since then I’ve had the chance to work in countries such as Canada, New Zealand, Andorra, Switzerland and elsewhere throughout Europe. Finally deciding on here in the French Alps where I plan to continue my career as a ski teacher and to spread my knowledge of and passion about skiing.


I am now fully certified (ISTD) in the British Ski Teaching system (BASI) which allows me to work freely throughout the French Alps. I really love skiing and get a huge kick out of helping other people to love the sport as much as I do.


I believe everyone can enjoy skiing because it offers such variety and contrast. The range of choice is huge whether it’s a gentle glide down flatter slopes to the next cafe or a more heart pounding descent on the steeps or in the off-piste powder. All the while surrounded in the beautiful setting of the French Alps.
